What the agent asks of you
Turnout asks unpaid people to give up hours of their life. That is the whole product, and it is the part most worth being careful about. So this page is the other side of the chief's board: for every member, what the agent knows, how many times it has asked this week, the hours it will not text them, and every message it has actually sent. Nothing here is a model's opinion. Every number comes from that member's own history.
- At most 2 targeted asks per member per week, on top of the one morning poll.
- No message during a member's quiet hours. It waits, and says it waited.
- One word, STOP, and the agent never texts that person again.
- At most 3 interruptions of the chief in a day, outside a live incident.
Every answer a member gives is written to this department's own Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Memory, which is where the response history sharpens from week to week without anyone retraining anything.
The prior on the response probability is 32 percent with a strength of 10 observations, from Predictive Dispatch of Volunteer First Responders, 2023. A member with no history is assumed to be about as likely to say yes as the published average, not certain either way.
The roster
The percentage is a Beta posterior over that member's own yes and no history for that kind of window, with a prior taken from the published range for volunteer first responders. It is why the agent asks two specific people rather than texting all fourteen.
The same record over the API
A member who wants to know why they were asked should not have to take anyone's word for it.
